Wikinews Shorts: May 7, 2007

A compilation of brief news reports for Monday, May 7, 2007.

A 30 meter section of a gas pipeline in Luka (near Kiev) in Ukraine has been destroyed by an explosion. Although supplies to Europe via this pipeline have stopped, Ukrainian Energy Minister Georgi E. Boyko said that supplies to Europe would not be affected.

“There are no changes in volumes of gas being transported,” Yuri Korolchuk said. “Volumes due to pass through the damaged section are being redirected through the Soyuz pipeline.”

Normal flows are reported in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Romania.

Copper prices are rising. Between record copper imports from China, and a mining strike in Peru, the prices have climbed to over $8100 (United States dollars) a tonne, for a gain of $575 dollars over the last week. However the upward trend is not new, it has been climbing for quite some time. In April 2003, the price of copper was under $2000 a tonne.

The metal market has been tending up due to growth in the Chinese industrial production. This trickles down to the local level, where the buying price at scrap yards is ever climbing, making scrap metal collection a more profitable endeavour for individual people using pick up trucks or other such vehicles to collect and cash in the scrap metal at metal buying yards. It can be collected via agreements with businesses, from the garbage, or, sometimes, by theft.

Copper prices fell today on the NYMEX commodity exchange from US$3.7545 per pound to US$3.7125 based on the July futures contract.

One man was killed and another injured by an exploding backpack in the parking lot of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The explosion happened at 4 a.m. PDT when the victim tried to remove a the object left on top of his car.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are on the scene. Aerial images did not show any apparent damage.

“We believe the victim was the intended target of this,” Bill Cassell said, spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. “This is being treated as a homicide in which the weapon used to cause death is a non-traditional weapon.”

Both of the victims worked at the Luxor.

North American roads suffer from dramatic thaws and freezes

Monday, January 8, 2007

Major city roads across North America are suffering from an early surge in potholes due to the dramatic freezes and thaws this month, some several feet across and inches deep. The potholes are caused by water seeping into cracks during warm weather, and pushing concrete apart when it freezes. Traffic erodes chunks of concrete from the cracks to form holes that continuously grow larger.

While car repair shops are experiencing a boom in business, city budgets are being hit with the costs of patching potholes. Thierry Larivée, an infrastructure spokesman in Montréal, Canada, says about 20 pothole patrols are working throughout the city. They are expected to continue work until at least Friday.

Craig Bryson, spokesman for the Road Commission for Oakland County in Michigan, United States, reports problems on unpaved roads as well. “The warmer weather is also playing havoc with gravel roads; the top layer of dirt thaws, but remains frozen about 10 inches below the surface. Surface water has no place to go. This creates a rutted, soupy road, especially in low-lying areas.”

Environment Canada meteorologist René Héroux attributes the unseasonable thaw to warm winds from the southwest. Environment Canada predicts a new cold front on Thursday.

The picture demonstrates that in 60 days We have obtained the top 5 positions on page 1 of Google for Internet Marketing Service Gosford! The image to the side shows several of my video thumbnails. This competes against all the SEO and Internet Marketing Service companies that concentrate on this area. It proves how important video is.

Video is such a versatile tool that it should be considered for anything. Youtube now has millions of searches a month, and you can still have your business found their faster than on Google. Because Youtube is a part of the Google family, you obtain preference in search engine optimization results too.

Demonstration

There’s nothing like video to show customers around your premises, give them an insight into the kind of work you do, or introduce your staff. Visual impact is larger than the written word in relation to promotion and in a moment or two potential clients can get a look or feel for the company.

Reviews

There’s a new trend towards video reviews. Many sites now allow this and encourage people to turn on their laptops or mobile devices where an inbuilt camera films their reviews. You merely add a star rating when you load up the video through your phone or Wifi, and there you are! Over 72% of people now trust online reviews according to a 2012 reported by Myles Anderson of Bright Local. There’s an ever increasing trend towards trusting reviews, and when these are in video format, it is much more powerful.

Email

You are able to shoot a video email to your clients. There are a number of free services here including IWOWWE. You can make your own video emails by recording them, loading them onto the internet and then pasting a picture into your email with a hyperlink to the video. Like everything else, it just takes a bit of practice.

Personal Messages

Using video, you can talk directly to clients. Whether it is a general message updating them on your company activities, notification of a special or contest, or a personal message to key clients, video is really effective in communicating and giving it that personal touch.

Optimising Your Videos

Once you make a video, you want it distributed far and wide. Videos will attract visitors to your company website, paying customers, and more. They can generate links for a site making it more visible on the net, and there are many other benefits. You can do all this yourself, or use an internet marketing service.

Optimising Yourself

If you want to take action, these are the things that require attention.

Put your keyword within the tag, description and Title.

Place your Suburb and Phone number within the Title

Place your company citation in the video description

Put your website address or Google places address in the description

Be sure that things you write invites the viewer to watch your video or you can be wasting your energy!

Using An Internet Marketing Service To Optimize Your Video

Getting a consultant saves you time and hassle, plus it ensures the proper placement of all the information. One must always have your video descriptions and titles integrated along with your overall strategy. Your consultant will retain the look and feel while ensuring that everything is maximized for search engine visibility. This isn’t as easy as it looks, and since it can take time to see the results, you want to be sure the work you do is optimized.

Promoting Videos Using An Internet Marketing Service

No, we’re not done yet! You could place your video within your blog within an appropriate article, or promote it widely. This leads to backlinks for a website or places listing, a strong part of getting seen online.

If you select to do this yourself, you can use services such as Trafficgeyser, but it is very expensive and not within the scope of most businesses. What I do is use Magic Submitter which not only sends your video to a variety of directories, it tells the bookmarking sites, RSS feeds, and many other places about your video. Others find it and tell their friends and pretty soon the backlinks are flying into your website. The ultimate way you promote your video is to your contacts on Social Networks, Email lists, etc. Ask them to leave positive comments and rate it 5 star. All this affects the ranking of the website and video.

Conclusion

You can see from the above that producing and syndicating videos on your Central Coast business may be a frightening task. Done right, it could make huge difference to your business. That’s the reason we advise you work with an Internet Marketing Service provider to get it right.

Wikinews Shorts: December 4, 2008

A compilation of brief news reports for Thursday, December 4, 2008.

File:Imsdal 33cl.JPG

On December 2, the Toronto city council voted in favor of banning the sales and distribution of bottled water on city property. The council also agreed to provide public drinking fountains on their properties, as well as on a measure that would make shoppers pay at least five Canadian cents for plastic grocery bags and force business owners to offer reusable bags and carry-out containers.

“Toronto’s decision to ban the bottle and turn on the tap sends a clear message that bottled water’s 15 minutes are up,” said Polaris Institute’s campaign coordinator, Joe Cressy.

All of the city’s facilities should be following the water ban by 2011, while businesses will have to implement their bag fees by 2010. Toronto has become the largest city in the world to ban bottled water on government property.

On Tuesday, American actor, Patrick Swayze, who suffers from pancreatic cancer, denied reports that he was near death. American tabloid National Inquirer reported on November 28 that Swayze’s cancer had spread to his liver and that he was preparing for his death.

“The only thorn in my side being that many tabloids have been consistently reporting lies and false information about me and those close to me,” said Swayze in a statement to the press who also added that he knows he is in “the fight for his life,” but that it is a fight that he “is winning.”

“I’m one of the lucky few that responds well to treatment,” added Swayze.

Swayze has starred in over a dozen films, including the 1987 hit film Dirty Dancing.

Sam Brownback on running for President, gay rights, the Middle East and religion

This article mentions the Wikimedia Foundation, one of its projects, or people related to it. Wikinews is a project of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Monday, October 15, 2007

Sam Brownback is perplexed. The U.S. Senator from Kansas and Presidential candidate is a Republican whose politics—he is against marriage for gay people, he is against abortion, and he has a clean image in a party tainted by scandal—should speak favorably to the party’s base. But it has not. “I’m baffled by that myself,” Senator Brownback told Wikinews reporter David Shankbone. “We haven’t been able to raise money.”

A recent poll in Iowa has put him in eighth place, with 2% supporting his campaign. “If we don’t finish fourth or better in Iowa…we’ll pull out.”

Senator Brownback’s relationship with God infuses almost every answer you find below. Although he doesn’t feel “competent” to explain why God would dislike gays, he does feel strongly that allowing two men or two women to enter into the union of marriage will destroy it for heterosexuals. Pointing to the research of Stanley Kurtz at the Hoover Institution, Brownback asserts that Northern Europeans have “taken the sacredness out of the institution.”

In the interview, Senator Brownback discusses the tug-and-pull that befalls him when his constituents show up at his office and say, “Look, I’m a conservative, but we need this bridge, we need this subsidy, we need this hospital.” Brownback feels this spending system needs to be changed; however, when it comes to energy policy, Brownback is there for his constituents. David Shankbone asked the Kansas Senator, a supporter of cellulosic ethanol, why he doesn’t support the lowering of tariffs on sugar since sugar ethanol delivers 8 times the energy output of cellulosic ethanol. Brazil, in particular, has become energy independent because of its sugar ethanol program. It’s cheaper to produce, and there is vastly more bang for the buck in sugar fuel than in corn fuel; an entire country no longer needs to import oil because of it. Federal tariffs currently make sugar ethanol too expensive in the United States. “You’re going to kill the ethanol industry here just as it gets going,” was Senator Brownback’s response. However, there is a debate over whether the process to make corn ethanol uses more energy than the ethanol itself produces.

Below is David Shankbone’s interview with Senator Sam Brownback.

‘XSS’ vulnerability discovered in WordPress plugin

Tuesday, March 30, 2021

Ivory Search, a WordPress plugin with over 60,000 active installations was found Sunday to have a security vulnerability that would allow attackers to perform damaging actions on websites that use the plugin. The vulnerability, known as reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) allows the execution of malicious JavaScript code by an unauthenticated attacker due to the lack of proper validation of user input in the plugin. Ivory Search versions 4.6 and below were found to be vulnerable to this issue by Jinson Varghese Behanan, a security researcher who immediately contacted the plugin’s development team who released a patch on March 30, 2021, fixing the bug in version 4.6.1. As of April 4, only 35% of the websites using the plugin have updated to the latest version. Considering the security risk, it is highly recommended that all the websites update to the latest version of Ivory Search.

Based on a technical analysis of the changes made by the team at WPScan, a free WordPress vulnerability management service, the Search Forms page of the plugin had not properly sanitised the “tab” parameter before printing it out in the page, leading to reflected XSS when opening a maliciously=crafted URL as a high privilege user such as a WordPress admin or editor. In order to exploit this, the knowledge of a search form ID is required. Behanan reported no active exploitation has been traced thus far.

WordPress is a popular free content management system used by over 40% of the top 10 million websites on the internet. It has been one of the primary targets for attackers who have continued to exploit vulnerabilities found in third party plugins and themes to perform malicious actions. When applications are vulnerable to XSS, an attacker gains the ability to execute malicious JavaScript code which can lead to website redirection, theft of session cookies, website defacement, etc. As a result, XSS has been listed as one of the Open Web Application Security Project’s Top 10 vulnerabilities. With JavaScript being the most commonly used client-side scripting language, website developers have used it to control how a website interacts with the users visiting it.

A vulnerability like XSS arises when a developer fails to properly validate user input fields on the website. This enables an attacker to insert malicious JavaScript code into these fields which are then executed by the browser as legitimate code and thus allows the attacker to perform damaging actions. For example, an attacker can exploit the XSS vulnerability to steal a session cookie, the unique token a website uses to recognise a logged-in user’s identity as they browse from page to page. If an attacker gains access to a user’s session cookie for a particular website, they will be able to access the logged-in session of that user without requiring to enter the username and password. Similarly, XSS can be used to insert JavaScript code that redirects the website to a malicious page or insert forms into the website with the purpose of baiting end users to enter their username and password which will then get sent to the attacker.

Dog Training Made Easy!

Submitted by: Millarddv Ortiz

It would be less complicated to potty train an older dog, if you are constant about exactly where you want it to poop. Heading to the exact same put, above and about once again, would support the puppy discover the proper area more rapidly. It also aids if you do not clean the spot a lot until eventually your puppy learns to go there when it wants to go potty.

three. Use the exact words in referring to potty. An older dog could possibly get baffled if you use distinct phrases to suggest the very same issue. When you want it to go potty, use the exact exact same phrase so that it would by some means develop into like a command to do the behavior you want it to do.

4. Take away each trace of potty accident within the home. Dogs’ feeling of smell are rather keen and the scent of urine or excrement in your residence may make it consider that it is the spot to go potty. Use a deodorizing cleaning resolution to do away with odors that may well stick to your floors and carpets.

5. Maintain your dog’s sleeping area as tight as easily attainable. Dogs do not want potty in their sleeping quarters and by trying to keep the area just plenty of for it to sleep and, possibly, flip close to, there would be no room for it to go potty. Actually early morning, when the canine wakes up, take it to its common potty site so that it would do its business there.

six. Lessen your dog’s meals and h2o consumption previous to it sleeps. This prevents accidents from happening due to the fact when your dog is total of water or foods when sleeping, it may not have the capability to control the get in touch with of nature.

seven. Make it uncomplicated for your canine to go exterior by means of a doggie door or leaving the back door open. If this is impractical in your location, leave a bell for your canine to attain. Consider the puppy out every single time it rings the bell so that it would know that ringing is a signal for heading out.

Whoever says you cannot educate your older dog new tricks could possibly just be as well lazy. Potty teaching an older puppy is without a doubt probable if you know these hints and if you just have the right sum of endurance.

When it arrives to dog education, shock collars can be an efficient device. On the other hand, they need to be applied effectively and safely if you’re heading to train your puppy with them. In this guide, I will demonstrate you how to use shock collars to reach this intention.

A shock collar is an electronic dog collar that will deliver a shock to the dog when they do one thing wrong. Most of these sorts of collars arrive with distinctive levels of shocks that can be administered, and ought to be set effectively for the dimension of the canine. A shock will be sent from the transmitter to the receiver of the dog’s collar. You control the transmitter to send signals when your puppy does something that you do not approve.

It’s a basic thought — any time the dog does anything wrong, you send a shock to the puppy.

RuPaul speaks about society and the state of drag as performance art

Saturday, October 6, 2007

Few artists ever penetrate the subconscious level of American culture the way RuPaul Andre Charles did with the 1993 album Supermodel of the World. It was groundbreaking not only because in the midst of the Grunge phenomenon did Charles have a dance hit on MTV, but because he did it as RuPaul, formerly known as Starbooty, a supermodel drag queen with a message: love everyone. A duet with Elton John, an endorsement deal with MAC cosmetics, an eponymous talk show on VH-1 and roles in film propelled RuPaul into the new millennium.

In July, RuPaul’s movie Starrbooty began playing at film festivals and it is set to be released on DVD October 31st. Wikinews reporter David Shankbone recently spoke with RuPaul by telephone in Los Angeles, where she is to appear on stage for DIVAS Simply Singing!, a benefit for HIV-AIDS.

DS: How are you doing?

RP: Everything is great. I just settled into my new hotel room in downtown Los Angeles. I have never stayed downtown, so I wanted to try it out. L.A. is one of those traditional big cities where nobody goes downtown, but they are trying to change that.

DS: How do you like Los Angeles?

RP: I love L.A. I’m from San Diego, and I lived here for six years. It took me four years to fall in love with it and then those last two years I had fallen head over heels in love with it. Where are you from?

DS: Me? I’m from all over. I have lived in 17 cities, six states and three countries.

RP: Where were you when you were 15?

DS: Georgia, in a small town at the bottom of Fulton County called Palmetto.

RP: When I was in Georgia I went to South Fulton Technical School. The last high school I ever went to was…actually, I don’t remember the name of it.

DS: Do you miss Atlanta?

RP: I miss the Atlanta that I lived in. That Atlanta is long gone. It’s like a childhood friend who underwent head to toe plastic surgery and who I don’t recognize anymore. It’s not that I don’t like it; I do like it. It’s just not the Atlanta that I grew up with. It looks different because it went through that boomtown phase and so it has been transient. What made Georgia Georgia to me is gone. The last time I stayed in a hotel there my room was overlooking a construction site, and I realized the building that was torn down was a building that I had seen get built. And it had been torn down to build a new building. It was something you don’t expect to see in your lifetime.

DS: What did that signify to you?

RP: What it showed me is that the mentality in Atlanta is that much of their history means nothing. For so many years they did a good job preserving. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a preservationist. It’s just an interesting observation.

DS: In 2004 when you released your third album, Red Hot, it received a good deal of play in the clubs and on dance radio, but very little press coverage. On your blog you discussed how you felt betrayed by the entertainment industry and, in particular, the gay press. What happened?

RP: Well, betrayed might be the wrong word. ‘Betrayed’ alludes to an idea that there was some kind of a promise made to me, and there never was. More so, I was disappointed. I don’t feel like it was a betrayal. Nobody promises anything in show business and you understand that from day one.
But, I don’t know what happened. It seemed I couldn’t get press on my album unless I was willing to play into the role that the mainstream press has assigned to gay people, which is as servants of straight ideals.

DS: Do you mean as court jesters?

RP: Not court jesters, because that also plays into that mentality. We as humans find it easy to categorize people so that we know how to feel comfortable with them; so that we don’t feel threatened. If someone falls outside of that categorization, we feel threatened and we search our psyche to put them into a category that we feel comfortable with. The mainstream media and the gay press find it hard to accept me as…just…

DS: Everything you are?

RP: Everything that I am.

DS: It seems like years ago, and my recollection might be fuzzy, but it seems like I read a mainstream media piece that talked about how you wanted to break out of the RuPaul ‘character’ and be seen as more than just RuPaul.

RP: Well, RuPaul is my real name and that’s who I am and who I have always been. There’s the product RuPaul that I have sold in business. Does the product feel like it’s been put into a box? Could you be more clear? It’s a hard question to answer.

DS: That you wanted to be seen as more than just RuPaul the drag queen, but also for the man and versatile artist that you are.

RP: That’s not on target. What other people think of me is not my business. What I do is what I do. How people see me doesn’t change what I decide to do. I don’t choose projects so people don’t see me as one thing or another. I choose projects that excite me. I think the problem is that people refuse to understand what drag is outside of their own belief system. A friend of mine recently did the Oprah show about transgendered youth. It was obvious that we, as a culture, have a hard time trying to understand the difference between a drag queen, transsexual, and a transgender, yet we find it very easy to know the difference between the American baseball league and the National baseball league, when they are both so similar. We’ll learn the difference to that. One of my hobbies is to research and go underneath ideas to discover why certain ones stay in place while others do not. Like Adam and Eve, which is a flimsy fairytale story, yet it is something that people believe; what, exactly, keeps it in place?

DS: What keeps people from knowing the difference between what is real and important, and what is not?

RP: Our belief systems. If you are a Christian then your belief system doesn’t allow for transgender or any of those things, and you then are going to have a vested interest in not understanding that. Why? Because if one peg in your belief system doesn’t work or doesn’t fit, the whole thing will crumble. So some people won’t understand the difference between a transvestite and transsexual. They will not understand that no matter how hard you force them to because it will mean deconstructing their whole belief system. If they understand Adam and Eve is a parable or fairytale, they then have to rethink their entire belief system.
As to me being seen as whatever, I was more likely commenting on the phenomenon of our culture. I am creative, and I am all of those things you mention, and doing one thing out there and people seeing it, it doesn’t matter if people know all that about me or not.

DS: Recently I interviewed Natasha Khan of the band Bat for Lashes, and she is considered by many to be one of the real up-and-coming artists in music today. Her band was up for the Mercury Prize in England. When I asked her where she drew inspiration from, she mentioned what really got her recently was the 1960’s and 70’s psychedelic drag queen performance art, such as seen in Jack Smith and the Destruction of Atlantis, The Cockettes and Paris Is Burning. What do you think when you hear an artist in her twenties looking to that era of drag performance art for inspiration?

RP: The first thing I think of when I hear that is that young kids are always looking for the ‘rock and roll’ answer to give. It’s very clever to give that answer. She’s asked that a lot: “Where do you get your inspiration?” And what she gave you is the best sound bite she could; it’s a really a good sound bite. I don’t know about Jack Smith and the Destruction of Atlantis, but I know about The Cockettes and Paris Is Burning. What I think about when I hear that is there are all these art school kids and when they get an understanding of how the press works, and how your sound bite will affect the interview, they go for the best.

DS: You think her answer was contrived?

RP: I think all answers are really contrived. Everything is contrived; the whole world is an illusion. Coming up and seeing kids dressed in Goth or hip hop clothes, when you go beneath all that, you have to ask: what is that really? You understand they are affected, pretentious. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s how we see things. I love Paris Is Burning.

DS: Has the Iraq War affected you at all?

RP: Absolutely. It’s not good, I don’t like it, and it makes me want to enjoy this moment a lot more and be very appreciative. Like when I’m on a hike in a canyon and it smells good and there aren’t bombs dropping.

DS: Do you think there is a lot of apathy in the culture?

RP: There’s apathy, and there’s a lot of anti-depressants and that probably lends a big contribution to the apathy. We have iPods and GPS systems and all these things to distract us.

DS: Do you ever work the current political culture into your art?

RP: No, I don’t. Every time I bat my eyelashes it’s a political statement. The drag I come from has always been a critique of our society, so the act is defiant in and of itself in a patriarchal society such as ours. It’s an act of treason.

DS: What do you think of young performance artists working in drag today?

RP: I don’t know of any. I don’t know of any. Because the gay culture is obsessed with everything straight and femininity has been under attack for so many years, there aren’t any up and coming drag artists. Gay culture isn’t paying attention to it, and straight people don’t either. There aren’t any drag clubs to go to in New York. I see more drag clubs in Los Angeles than in New York, which is so odd because L.A. has never been about club culture.

DS: Michael Musto told me something that was opposite of what you said. He said he felt that the younger gays, the ones who are up-and-coming, are over the body fascism and more willing to embrace their feminine sides.

RP: I think they are redefining what femininity is, but I still think there is a lot of negativity associated with true femininity. Do boys wear eyeliner and dress in skinny jeans now? Yes, they do. But it’s still a heavily patriarchal culture and you never see two men in Star magazine, or the Queer Eye guys at a premiere, the way you see Ellen and her girlfriend—where they are all, ‘Oh, look how cute’—without a negative connotation to it. There is a definite prejudice towards men who use femininity as part of their palette; their emotional palette, their physical palette. Is that changing? It’s changing in ways that don’t advance the cause of femininity. I’m not talking frilly-laced pink things or Hello Kitty stuff. I’m talking about goddess energy, intuition and feelings. That is still under attack, and it has gotten worse. That’s why you wouldn’t get someone covering the RuPaul album, or why they say people aren’t tuning into the Katie Couric show. Sure, they can say ‘Oh, RuPaul’s album sucks’ and ‘Katie Couric is awful’; but that’s not really true. It’s about what our culture finds important, and what’s important are things that support patriarchal power. The only feminine thing supported in this struggle is Pamela Anderson and Jessica Simpson, things that support our patriarchal culture.

Author of My Billion Year Contract reflects on life in elite Scientology group

Thursday, January 14, 2010

Wikinews interviewed author Nancy Many about her book My Billion Year Contract, and asked her about life working in the elite Scientology group known as the “Sea Org“. Many joined Scientology in the early 1970s, and after leaving in 1996 she later testified against the organization. Published in October, Many’s book has gone on to become one of the top selling new books on Scientology at Amazon.com.

Do Colon Cleanses Really Work?}

Do Colon Cleanses Really Work?

For the most part, people partake in cleanses because they either want to feel more healthy, or they want to lose weight, or both. Colon cleansing helps you accomplish both of these goals – primarily by helping your body to scrub your colon or lower intestine (the big one) of waste that has accumulated inside your body and isn’t being cleaned out as well by regular bodily processes.

This waste gets backed up in our bodies for a number of reasons. First and foremost, the typical diet that one eats is generally low in fruits, vegetables and dietary fiber, which is critical for keeping the digestive system clean. Second, and just as important, is the fact that many people are dehydrated from the combination of not drinking enough fresh water and drinking too much caffeine through soft drinks and coffee. This combination of diet and dehydration causes your bodily waste to not be as soft on its passage through your system, so it can accumulate and start to cause issues inside your digestive tract. When you do a colon cleanse, the supplements you take are primarily based around all-natural, herbal ingredients that have been proven to have a beneficial effect on the digestive tract and at moving waste. Almost all cleanses include a good deal of dietary fiber, as this is nature’s key scrubber when it comes to the body’s digestive system. From the fiber base, expect to see a plethora of ingredients as colon cleanse manufacturers look to outdo one another’s formula – however, rest assured that most cleanses work as well as the others with slight variations depending on how your body reacts to them.Once you complete your cleanse, you will likely notice that you lost a bit of weight, which happens through passing out this backed up gunk in your system. Typical cleansers see weight loss of anywhere between five to eight pounds in the first month of their cleanse, which will usually taper off unless combined with a healthy diet and exercise. There you have it – a bit of background on colon cleansing.
