Finding Mr Sandless Franchise

Submitted by: Melvinuw Molina

COMPLETELY SATISFIED!!! Mr. Sandless and his team have indeed exceeded my expectations of high quality and performance. They have proven to me the quality of workmanship is second to none. The team has worked with me and has provided us with true satisfaction and professionalism. They even went beyond what was asked just to make certain that my clients were Entirely satisfied. Products and knowledge of the products that were utilized showed me that Mr. Sandless is the organization to call whenever you desire to have your floors refinished with out all the hassles of sanding and refinishing. I will suggest Mr. Sandless to anybody that requires their floors to be professionally resurfaced. Thanks, you do remarkable work! Shannon S. New Brunswick, Canada

STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS & SERVICE!!!! I hired Mr. Sandless to refinish the hardwood floors in both of my daughter’s rooms. Upon finishing the process, we ran across a difficulty with my floors that required to be corrected. Even though this issue had nothing to do with Mr. Sandless or their procedure, the technicians right away contacted the owner, who said he would do whatever was required to make the floors proper. To my surprise he did exactly that. My floors are now gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier. The Mr. Sandless of Kentucky team, from the technicians to the business owner, were 100% prompt, pleasant and professional from the beginning. It is so refreshing to discover a business willing to stand behind their products and services. I would absolutely recommend this organization and plan to hire them to finish the remaining flooring in my home. Jan H. Louisville, KY

More THAN PLEASED WITH THE WORK! Thank you so a lot for the fantastic work that Mr. Sandless did on the floors in my mother’s house. The hardwood floors were installed 46 years ago when the home was being built. A few years after, underlay and carpeting had been glued directly onto the hardwood. Then, years after that, an additional layer of carpet was stapled over the top of all of this. It all seemed like a daunting project for anyone to take on — but you came via as well as the results are fantastic! I am Much more than pleased with the work that was completed and would not hesitate to suggest your company to anyone. Murielle M. New Brunswick, CA

Kiribati acquires international funding for solar power

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Last Tuesday, AusAID Australia and the World Bank’s Global Environment Fund (GEF) reached an agreement to give the government of Kiribati US$5 million (AU$4,779,000, NZ$5,985,000, €3,885,000) to install solar panels around the country capital, located on the Tarawa atoll. According to Business Desk of the Brunei Times, AusAID promised AU$3.2 million in funding, while GEF promised US$1 million. The country was the first in the Pacific to make a deal with the World Bank.

The funding was part of a US$530 million (NZ$635 million) package announced at yesterday’s Pacific Energy Summit in Auckland involving New Zealand and the European Union, Australia, the Asian Development Bank, the European Investment Bank, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the World Bank Group, and the United Arab Emirates. Also at the summit yesterday, New Zealand’s Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully had announced a national commitment of USD$54,262,000 (AU$51,861,000 NZ$65 million, €42,178,000) to Pacific region energy solutions, of which US$8,348,000 (AU$8 million, NZ$10 million, €6,483,000) would be specifically earmarked for renewable energy and improved energy efficiency in the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu.

Kiribati is heavily dependent on diesel fuel for most of the energy available on the national power grid, which supplies power to half Kiribati’s population of 110,000. In addition, a third of the country’s population lacks access to electricity. Once installation of the solar panels is complete, they are estimated to reduce diesel consumption by 230,000 liters (60,760 gallons) a year and give access to the electricity to some parts of the population that currently have no electricity. The European Union already has committed €100 million to sustainable energy in the region, with €10 million of that coming as a result of an announcement made last week.

In a press release about the news, Kiribati President Anote Tong was quoted as saying, “Kiribati faces big challenges it is remote, it is at risk from the effects of climate change, and it is vulnerable to economic shocks. […] Shifting Kiribati’s focus to reliable solar energy will provide a more secure, more sustainable power source for the country’s people.” Radio New Zealand International quoted Tong as saying, “It’s the first time we are doing this. We’re excited at the prospect of even substituting fossil fuel to a small extent at this stage. What the system being envisaged will only produce around 500 kilowatts, but this is the beginning of what I hope will be a pattern, the trend in the future.”

The European Union’s Fiji-based head of operations for the Pacific region, Renato Mele, supported alternative energy solutions like solar power for the region, but said that solar power had limitations because climate and environmental conditions sometimes meant batteries required to power the panels had a life of only 12 months, compared to other climates where batteries normally last five years. This created the potential to drive up standard operating costs. Mele has also noted these additional costs though are still lower than the cost of diesel power.

One News Pacific Correspondent Barbara Dreaver noted, “Governments will be able to put the money they (currently) spend on diesel into things like education and health.”

Points To Ponder With Teeth Whitening In Chicago, Il

byAlma Abell

Many people are interested in the idea of Teeth Whitening in Chicago IL, but have some reservations about the process. Before assuming that this type of cosmetic procedure is not worth the time or effort, it pays to ask a few questions and listen carefully to the answers. Here are a few examples. Will Whitening Techniques Damage the Teeth? When the Teeth Whitening in Chicago IL, is done under the care of a dental professional, the patient can rest assured the treatments are perfectly safe. In fact, a dentist will conduct a thorough examination of the teeth before agreeing to perform any type of whitening treatment.

What this means is that if there is any issue present that could lead to an adverse effect, the dentist will take care of the problem first, and then advise the client of whether whitening is an option or if it is best to focus on other approaches for improving the appearance of the teeth. Will the Teeth Look Perfectly White Again? While there is no doubt the teeth will look better, the results will vary. This is because the underlying condition of the teeth will vary from one patient to the next. Part of the work of the dentist is to set realistic expectations for what the treatments will and will not do. That makes it easier for patient to decide if they really want to undergo the whitening process.

Can the Teeth Get a Little Too White? The goal of any whitening treatment is to get rid of any yellowing and restore a natural appearance to the teeth. When conducted under the care of a dentist, this makes it possible to assess the look of the teeth after each treatment. Doing so will make it much easier to avoid leaving the teeth with an appearance that is a little too white. While there are over the counter products patients can use at home, nothing beats having the whitening done under the watchful eye of a dental professional. For people who are interested in improving the appearance of their teeth, contact Dr. Saul Legator DDS, today and schedule an appointment. After just a few treatments, the teeth will look better than they have in decades.

Wikinews extended an invitation by e-mail in the first week of May to Vitaly Filipchenko, an independent candidate in the 2021 New York City mayoral election set to take place November 2 alongside other candidates. Filipchenko agreed to answer some questions about his policies and campaign with a Wikinews reporter in a recorded call on May 6 after an initial discussion through e-mail.

Filipchenko, registered on the New York City Campaign Finance Board as Vitaly A. According to the web site, Filipchenko has been educated in road construction and maintenance and owns a moving services company; he describes himself on his web site as a “small business owner”. Irish inflation creeps upwards to 2.4%

Saturday, June 11, 2005

The inflation rate in Ireland, as measured by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), edged upwards to hit a five month high in May at 2.4%. This represents a 0.2% rise on the previous month when the rate stood at 2.2%.

The major contributors to the rise were increased transportation, healthcare, and education costs. In April the EU25 average rate of inflation was 2.1%, with Latvia having the highest rate at 7.1% and Sweden the lowest at 0.4%.

Despite the increase in the rate, Irish inflation remains very low – having hit 7% during 2000 and remaining around the 5% until the beginning of 2003. Another major factor easing any worries about the increase is Ireland’s very strong GDP growth – expected to be around 5.5% this year

On an annual basis the cost of footwear and clothing have fallen by 2.7% whilst energy costs have soared by 10.4%. The cost of food, furniture, and communications also fell over the last 12 months.

The Consumer Price Index is made up of over 55,000 prices consisting of 613 headings which cover over 1,000 different items.

Astronaut Steve MacLean talks with Canadian PM over phone

Friday, September 15, 2006

The Canadian PM Stephen Harper spoke with astronaut Steve MacLean over the phone yesterday from Ottawa. MacLean was on the STS-115 (space shuttle Atlantis). He is also the second Canadian to walk in space.

Harper congratulated MacLean and asked him questions, including one from Harper’s son, Ben. The question was: “What time do the astronauts go to bed?” “On our mission, with where the sun is, we have 55 minutes of daylight followed by 75 minutes of darkness … and that does affect your circadian rhythm,” MacLean replied. The astronauts’ sleep pattern “is driven by the rendezvous that we do with the station. That time is the key milestone and then we arrange our sleep schedules around that.” “But you can tell your son that sleeping in space is wonderful. We all sleep down on the main deck, some of us right side up, some of us are on the side and some of us are upside down. There’s more orientations up here, basically.”

Harper told MacLean that the country is proud of his achievements. “I’m sure it’s an adventure of a lifetime and … I expect your mission will inspire millions of Canadians, young people, and even some who are talking to you today to become interested in space and science and technology,” Harper said.

Harper wished MacLean well as the mission winds down. “I know you said … you wanted to bring home a gold medal for Canada, from everything I’ve seen on your performance yesterday, you are well on your way,” Harper said.

Canadian school children also got a chance to ask MacLean about his time aboard the shuttle.

MacLean walked in space on Wednesday. MacLean, with fellow Atlantis crew member Dan Burbank started their six-hour spacewalk at the international space station at 5:05 am ET. They are focusing their attention and tools on a ferris-wheel-like rotary joint that will allow two solar arrays, once unfurled, to always face the sun as the space station circles Earth. The solar arrays will supply a quarter of the space lab’s power when it is completed by 2010.

The Care Of Solar Panels

By Coleen Smith

Solar panels are designed to provide a steady source of electricity and heat. The panels feature an array of solar cells and are linked up to other compartments. They’re usually installed onto the roofs and tops of homes and buildings in groups of three or four. To ensure your panels are able to function properly and provide adequate power, make sure that they are properly maintained.

The good news is that these systems do not need much upkeep. The heating pump is the really only component that features any moving parts and the only breakable part is the glass covering of the panels. Even though maintenance will be light, it’s wise to stay on top of it.

It’s a good idea to periodically inspect your solar panels. To prevent damage, remove dirt and any other pieces of debris. Check them as often as the manufacturer’s manual says to or whenever the glass appears particularly dirty. Check them more frequently if you live in a dusty area. Generally, if you check them and they’re very dirty, you should check them more frequently. Since this is not a daily task, you’ll probably need some way to help you remember when to check your solar panels. Mark the dates on your calendar, or combine it with some other periodic maintenance like checking the batteries in your smoke alarms.

In order to remove an accumulation of grime and dirt particles from the panels, scrub gently from time to time. Use soap and warm water to loosen the dirt and a clean cloth to wipe it away. Bird droppings are commonly found on solar panels, since they’re usually located on roofs. You’ll need to completely remove them to maximize the amount of sunlight that gets through to the solar panels. One you’ve removed the dirt, cool down the panels with room temperature water before drying. This will prevent streaks and water spots.

Don’t remove the solar panels to clean them. That’s more work than it’s worth. You will have to use a ladder and some safety gear to climb up to them. Take every safety precaution as you inspect and clean the panels to avoid the accidents that frequently occur when climbing on roofs and using ladders.

A solar panel must be completely clean in order for it to function properly. A dirty panel could mean that you get little or no use out of it. So cleaning them is an extremely important act, rather than a cosmetic one.

If you are unwilling or unable to ascend to your home’s roof, you have a few more options. You could clean your solar panels from the safety and comfort of the ground using a tool designed for that purpose. Much like the devices used at a self service car wash, a long metal pole sprays a powerful steady stream of water. Most of the devices can be hooked up the home’s front or backyard water faucet.

You could also consider hiring professional solar panel cleaners. These workers are experts and safely inspecting rooftop panels and have the tools and know how to keep them working properly. Look in the phone book or online for local businesses that offer this service. Or ask the contractor that installed your system. Shop around and get prices from a few different companies. There’s a wide range in pricing.
